i want to be a photographer.  there.  i said it.
credentials:  none.  well, actually i was in the photography club in high school.  however, my biggest contribution was coming up with the slogan for our club t-shirts:
"smile.  don't smile.  we don't really care."
thank you.  i thought it was clever, too.
apparently, i was very angsty during this time. 
but i digress...

 i probably offended any legit photographers who might stumble upon this.  i'm not inferring that any old boob can be a photographer.  quite the contrary.  after realizing how much i enjoy photography, i was then hit with a second realization.  good photography is hard.  it's more than snapping a pretty picture.  it takes vision, talent, patience (of which i possess none), and great motivation.

so...have i also mentioned i want to be a librarian?
