I've had this blog for a while, but i've been waiting for something big, something truly blog-worthy, to start if off. How about an engagement??!! The epitome of love- a mirror of Christ and the church.
Marriage is such a beautiful picture of Christ's committment to us, His bride. If you ever struggle with viewing Christ as the groom and the church as his somewhat adulteress bride- I highly recommend Derek Webb's cd- "She Must and Shall Go Free." It has made me look at Christ's relation to the church in a whole new way. But...I digress (I have a feeling I'm going to be using that sentence a lot on this blog!). So- who's engaged?
Our dear friend, Vinita, is getting married!!! I'm so excited for her- and she couldn't have picked a better man! Kevin- or the Kev-Meister as I will now be calling him- is awesome. He fits right in with us crazies!
I can't wait to watch Vinita embark upon this amazing adventure! I know that she will be an amazing wife and fabulous mother! Vinita- we love you and are so excited for you!
